ugh, just went to adjust my fantasy teams. made it to the championship game in 2 of three leagues (should have been 3 of 3 by had several guys go to crap last week), and found I am facing Peyton F. Manning in both games.

Come on JJ, lets see a high ankle sprain by mid second quarter!

Funny how the Pats always seem to be in a rebuilding year according to you.

Side note, it's still a very real possibility that the Pats miss the playoffs. It requires the Dolphins, Bengals, and Ravens all winning this week and the Dolphins, Ravens, and Bills winning next week. My guess is that all of that happens with the exception of Buffalo winning next week.

I wouldn't call it a "rebuilding" year per se, it was assumed Hernandez and gronk again would be the best tight-end set in the league, well we know what happened to H and Gronk came back late, defiantly made an impact then suffered a torn ACL from a massive hit to his knee. Throw in season-ending injuries to the three best defensive players, (Wilfork, Mayo,Kelly) 2 more to the O-line and the team is a shell of it's former self. Let's face it, if your forced to get miracle, come from behind wins against the Texans or Browns you've got issues, without Brady they would be lucky to have 7-8 wins tops and I can't see them winning a playoff game minus this many key players.

Your "I did not know that statistic!" for the Seattle Seahawks this week is below. As early as the off season training period, we would hear from players how Pete Carroll was beating into their heads to always go 100% for the ball. No matter what, be a ball hawk 100% until the play is over. He has beaten this into their heads all season long, and if you have watched enough of their games (lol, I know right?) I think you will see just what Carroll meant, and how much the team has bought into this. A cliché perhaps, but it is working this year.

But stopping big plays is what the Seattle defense does best. The NFL categorizes it as explosive plays or GAP -- game altering plays. It’s any pass of 16 yards or more, and any run of 12 yards or more.

“I pay attention to the explosives,” said Thomas, when asked which defensive statistic is most important to him. “That’s my job as the free safety. I want to be the best in the league at stopping those.”

The Seahawks are No 1 in fewest GAPs allowed this season with 76. And they easily are the league best in passing explosives, having allowed only 47 in 14 games.

You know they keep showing the passing TDs and yards records graphic in these Broncos games and all it really does is illustrate how fucking amazing Dan Marino was.

Cowboys-Redskins? Am I watching a replay of the Cowboys-Packers? We're averaging 6+ yards on the ground, let's throw the ball some more!

interesting day, houston keeps denver in check till late in the game, skins-girls looking like a regular NFC east game, miami failed to show for the plane to buffalo, saints finally get a good road win, KC looks like they had too much KFC, and jets outlasted the pesky browns and ed reed ices the game.

interesting that last time bobby three sticks played the stadium looked two thirds empty, the cousins show up and it's a packed house.

and in the karma sucks depot, looks like I'll lose both championship games and score enough points in my third league that I would have won it had I not lost last week.

What?

I do wish Denver would have lost to the garbage Texans, just for the lulz.

And I guess Romo didn't get the memo that he needs to choke on the last drive.
