SNF is pretty much the premier game of the week now. That said, MNF is a great way to send off Candlestick. I'll be there. Hoping for no power outages this time though! 😀
 
Say what you will about Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder; yes, they don't seem to be able to put together teams that can win, but they're making a cubic fuckton of cash and have managed to turn perpetually disappointing teams into two of the highest value sports franchises in the world. I bet it's really hard for them to feel disappointed in that. It sucks for the fans, but I don't like either of those teams, so I hope they run those franchises forever.
 
Jerry has no choice but to say "it is all good here" because:

He is stuck with Romo for a while (multiple years contract with huge money).

He is stuck with the current coaching staff. Sure, he could fire them and get new blood but would the new guys be any better? See the stats of Ryan in NO and the new D coordinator.

As I said, Jerry is a smart/savvy business guy but he needs to give up the GM title, stop medling with the drafts and the operation of the team or the Cowboys will continue to be a .500 or slightly better. See how the owner of NE operates? He just signs the checks, stays inside the Penthouse suite, and the team keeps winning (and I am not even a fan of the Pats).

Prediction: Seahawks will go to 13-2 and the east coast media will continue to pretend they don't exist.

Hell, even after the curb-stomping they gave out last week most of the articles barely mentioned who the Giants were playing.

Niners can lock up seed #5 with a pair of wins. the best teams in the nfc will be ranked 1,2,5,6, being 5 means a better chance of not having to go to Seattle in playoff week 2

This game is going to be a nail biter. I predict high scoring, and no defense...

At least from the bears there will be no defense, it all depends on if we get Jay "Should be Cut"ler or Jay Clutchler on that day.
