As if class wasn't enough, another difference between you and me is that I don't hurl names at people I disagree with. But don't take that too hard...you're not the only one around here who's into name calling. Here's a tip: it doesn't help your case. In fact it shows how you lost...

There is one person here who willfully put their family and the people around them in potential danger by delaying the appropriate vaccinations based on specious reasoning.

The definition of 'fool': a person who acts unwisely or imprudently; a silly person.

Yep, seems appropriate...

They are given in groups because they should be administered as early as possible...

...and I'm sure eventually, there will be advocates that suggest we juice-up these kids in-utero! They will profess that the maternal transfer of immunity to the newborn is negligible and at most ineffective and hence, these newborns need supplemental boosters in order to survive. ():)

Yes, the wise man knows how many plagues are spread by two year olds at home with Mom. It's a wonder we even allow those little Typhoid Mary's to live.

C'mon, you understand germ theory and the way disease is spread better than that.
I do, but babies with stay-at-home moms in the country just don't get around much. We don't do play dates or parks; we have our own yards and fields. There just aren't many more people in contact with two year olds compared to one year olds for us. Day care or school is where high density contact with strangers begins for most kids in the country.

But my point is that the impact of stopping any one of those things is negligible in comparison to anti-vaxxers and has as much grounding in science as the anti-vaxxers or evne your ridiculous points. One has massive societal impacts, the other does not, both have no grounding in science.

The bigger point is that it could be any one of those things, all of which have probably just as strong of a correlation to your idiotic meta-data study and are likely not even the cause. Furthermore, moronic parents would rather blame some exogenous variable, like "big pharma" than themselves, or at least even be introspective about it.

I disagree with you that in today's world, my waiting until my kid is 3 to get vaccinated is a significant risk. Thanks to most of us being vaccinated, there's not much of these bugs going around. Waiting a couple years is no big deal nor will it have as you put it "massive societal impacts".

You think the amount of danger in waiting two years is significant enough to call someone names? The risk was minimal. Thanks for your concern but we slept just fine during those years

You're the one who seems very uneducated about this whole thing. I wish my life were so simple so I could spend my energies worrying about such trivial things

And THAT qualifies as intelligent discussion?

What is it about you Canadians? I know it's been a long, hard winter all but ...get some fresh air

How do you connect the dots of getting married to her views on vaccination?

Nice generalization. How many marriages does it take to "settle down"?

Settled down isn't dependent upon numbers. If you're happily married, you're settled down. Regardless, I'm happy for her and hope it works out well

I guess her marriage to Jim Carrey wasn't happy.

You don't want to hitch your trailer to this wagon.
If my wife would allow I'd LOVE to hitch my trailer to that wagon. I'd even share with her.

Sadly, that generosity on my part does not seem to help . . .
