An email query from the Washington Examiner sent Sunday evening to President Joe Biden's top spokeswoman prompted an automatic reply from Psaki's account that said she "will be out of the office" Sunday through next weekend.

No, the purpose of a press conference is to get out information to the citizens and give the press the ability to ask questions, get truthful answers, either at the time of the question, or later when the answer if available and known. (There is not time frame in which any question is required to be answered, the only requirement is that it is factual and truthful). I know it's a difficult concept for you to grasp where you have been conditioned to believing all questions are to be answered on the spot, with lie after lie as it was with the Trump administration. OF course he could only keep up that BS for so long before he stopped having press conferences.
Right - so why did she magically (and hilariously) decide to go on leave when there was a MAJOR FUCKING EVENT concerning a WAR WE HAVE BEEN IN FOR 20 YEARS?
