Was listening to some non-MAGA judicial analyst tell NPR this morning that it’s “highly unlikely” Trump is named as a predator/suspect in any of the Epstein files—if he had been, it’s more likely the victims would have come forward earlier or that info would have been leaked before his first term—nevermind during the Biden administration. This is just based on the sheer number of people already exposed to unredacted files.
What’s far more likely, she said, is that Trump himself is named as a source—I.e. he could have been one of the initial sources of the Palm Beach investigation that got Epstein in trouble in the first place.
Think about this for a second—Trump might be *afraid* to be shown as someone who knew Epstein was doing wrong by these girls and came forward to the authorities. In other words, it’s far more likely that Trump is afraid of being exposed as someone who’d squeal to the Feds about his friends after a falling out, as this could be very, very dangerous for him given some of the sharks he and his family swim with.
I’m not sure what I think about this…but it seems very plausible.
