I'm going to be nice and warn you that I'm a bit of an expert on Lifeline and give you a chance to do a bit of research before I take your insult personal.

Ahh, another government leacher!

By all means school me on something experts already have debunked.

Did you actually read that link before you posted it?

Prior to 2008, the program was only for discounted service. It was actually an $18 discount per month but that wasn't in the link. In 2009 the program was changed to give free cell service and a free phone (last I heard was 500 minutes and unlimited text).

So prior to Obama the program gave an $18 discount to needy people. With Obama it's a free cell phone, free minutes and free texts.

But please don't let facts get in the way of your ignorance. They never have before.

I don't have much of a issue with the phones. Only issue i have is the waste. a small amount of air time for a phone for pooer/disabled is a good thing.

Did you read this part you stupid fuck!

A: No. Low-income households have been eligible for discounted telephone service for more than a decade. But the program is funded by telecom companies, not by taxes, and the president has nothing to do with it.

Yes, don't let facts get in the way of your ignorance! We certainly know how much you like being stupid but did YOU bother reading the links I provided?

Go ahead and move the goal posts, that's what bitches like you do;)

Well, you will be happy to know that it's paid for by telecom companies.

This is why I don't bother trying to be civil to ignorant jerk offs like you.

No its not you stupid fuck.

It's paid for by people who actually pay for their cell phones. It's funded by consumers, not companies dipshit.

Is that the new Obamaphone?

Jeb's probably right, as far as it goes. I shudder to think what authoritarians can do with the tech. Future generations can be chipped at birth & monitored their whole lives via computer programs.

Hey, your good buddies Bush/Cheney passed the Patriot Act and enacted lots of domestic spying programs so there's little need to worry about a chipped iWatch as our security agencies are at this minute checking to see what kind of porn YOU like!

Oooh, exactly what I want! All of my medical records and up to the minute specific details of my health all stored, controlled and protected by Apple. I mean they have a great track record on securing data, why should anyone be concerned?

/s

Might as well post my damn medical records here on ATOT, at least then I will know for a fact they are in the wild.

Your identity was stolen a while ago.

They don't even have to ask permission, anymore.

Paper's please, is a rhetorical question.

Which is paid for by the consumers of said telecom companies which is passed on to its customers which is effectively everyone who does business with a telecom company which is virtually everyone. How is that different than a direct tax other than it being less efficient since it has to go through so many hands?

Personally I randomly click on 9 different types of porn, purposely click "my type" and mute the other nine. Let them dig through that!

yeah. out of fees WE pay. you did know that right?

It's paid by carriers and users of said carriers. YOU pay it, I don't, nor does everyone that pays taxes in this country. Don't want to pay the fee? Find a carrier/service that doesn't charge the fee to it's customers or don't use the service;)

Hey Jeb, how does your Apple Watch help if you have tooth pain and need a root canal?

If you would actually READ the article you would see that context counts.

In fairness, Bush didn’t explicitly say that his Apple Watch could replace health insurance altogether, but he certainly seemed to take some steps in that direction.

You are making implications that do not exist.

Are there carriers that don't have to pay into the Federal Universal Service Fund? I thought it was mandatory. Some carriers may not itemize that on your bill, but chances are, you're still paying for it.

Any prepaid service I've ever seen doesn't have taxes. That goes for services where you pay monthly or where you pay per minute. You could argue that it's included in the price but the prices of prepaid have either been the same or cheaper since 2009 (when wireless was included for USF).

Except the thread title

no, the thread is about Jeb bush not being able to answer the question and his responses being irrelevant and laughable.

He doesn't have to explicitly say "I'm gonna use applewatch for healthcare, lololol"
Just bringing up the apple watch in a conversation about ObamaCare demonstrates that he's a complete tool.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised about some candidate winning by some stupid proposal like "an Applewatch for everyone".

So, as stupid as it sounds, the voters' stupidity might turn this into a winner in a - * - = + sort of way.
