On this device in five years will be applications that will allow me to manage my health care in ways that five years ago were not even possible. I’ll have the ability, someone will, you know, because of my blood sugar, there’ll be a wireless, there’ll be, someone will send me a signal. It’ll come here, I’ll get a double beep saying, ‘You just ate a butterscotch sundae’ or something like that. ‘You went way over the top. You’re a diabetic, you can’t do that,’ whatever.

“We’ll be able to guide our own health care decisions in a way that will make us healthy. And ultimately, we have to get to a health system, away from a disease system.”

Hey Jeb, how does your Apple Watch help if you have tooth pain and need a root canal?

Don't you get it? The applecarewatch will stop you from eating ice cream and drinking soda therefore preventing damage to your teeth and it will also remind you to brush and floss. It's a long term plan, but it'll work.

What about aftercare of a car accident or cancer or ovarian cysts?

Lets be fair Jeb was suggesting healthcare should work simply & seamlessly like the apple watch.
Yes it was still a dumb thing to say, so we should all buy an over priced watch that now keeps records of our calls, location and health data?

Is that the new Obamaphone?

Jeb's probably right, as far as it goes. I shudder to think what authoritarians can do with the tech. Future generations can be chipped at birth & monitored their whole lives via computer programs.

Sounds like grounds for divorce.

And I thought he was the smarter brother...

seems that's not the case. When someone ask him a question he does not get it. Then he has ideas that he does not know how to explain.

I do kinda agree with him on the watches. They can be a great benefit for health when they get better. but in no way in hell are they going to replace a health plan.

Will they hand out Bush watches to go with the Obama phone?

That's Reagan phones, give credit where it is due.

edit: Why two separate devices? Just add a body scanner to the phone and let the NSA do all the work.

Oh look. Yet another thread where people couldn't be bothered to read the article before spewing their ignorance.
Bush didn’t explicitly say that his Apple Watch could replace health insurance altogether

So there were tents set up outside stores giving away free phones and service in the 80s?

How funny, the Left goes full retard and takes a Republican's statement out of context, must be a day ending with the letter Y.

It was for a landline you idiot and then it was expanded under clinton to include wireless.
