Of course he's forgetting that his brother, GWB, already did that when he had Ted Kennedy write Medicare expansion.

Last week I was looking through a union newsletter which happened to have a political cartoon. The cartoon was about tax breaks and showed a fat cooperation with lots of money and the worker with nothing.

It is not the governments job to distribute wealth. If you want a government that redistributes wealth you want Socialism and Communion.
 
It reflects reality that blacks (and Democrats generally) want bigger government and the reason they want bigger government is typically for the social welfare spending. The matter of not liking the implications of the truth is a different issue than the mere statement of it - it's OK to admit you like the government freebies.

Non-story to me, basically Everyone knows this. Politicians (aka Whores) throw out scraps for votes constantly, Dems are no different than Reps and vice versa. Shit McCain and Obama had an auction going on their one townhall. Bernie is out there wanting to give people "free" everything. Reps aren't any cleaner. Don't want to cut the Mil, or even grow it? More jobs for southern kids who don't have a fucking clue what they're doing in life and don't have the grades or job opportunities to do anything with themselves...oh wait, Mil is here to give you a job!

Whores will do anything for those votes...
 
Yes...but the Pope doesn't have to worry about little details like funding. He's like Bernie: "Free" shit just drops from sky, Everyone happy until they're not, by then he's long gone (but got what he wanted).

The usual Republican rhetoric. Just rename the Reagan-phone the Obama-phone and a nation wide adoption of Romney-care to Obama-care to escape the blame and walk away whistling wearing a "WHO ME?" tea party shirt

Well if it's not true so much the better, we can start reducing those social welfare programs and the people in question won't need to forced into accepting "free stuff" anymore and all the subsequent cognitive dissonance that entails.
