Starting to have a problem with my jeans not fitting comfortably over upper legs. But when I find a pair that does, they are huge on my waist. I don't really have a preference of brand just straight leg with a somewhat narrow ankle. Any ideas of where to find something?

If you have pretty big thighs, you could just bring the jeans to a tailor to bring in the waist, make sure the tailor is good though or your pants will look off.

I've heard of some kickstarter companies who specialize in jeans for athletic builds, no experience with them myself though:

There's a brand of jeans for people who actually squat. I forget the name though, but I know they exist.

Same problem here. Bought a pair of the new Levi's Athletic fit, and I'm convinced they used a couch athlete as their model. Still tight in the thighs and loose in the waist.

yeah the 541s. i like them because of the taper but since my thighs to waist ratios are absurd, and the fact they don't really make 29 waist, it's the best "off the shelf"

edit - they have 2% elastane, i love it.
