Honestly, they should just close down all the shows, fire Conan, he's a leftist twat, give Leno a car show where he can talk about cars and the shit ton of cars in his garage, publicize the shit out of that.

Craig Ferguson should handle the chat show business, he's far more entertaining than the others. Although Jay is the coolest simply because he has good taste in cars

?? umm no he did not. his rating suck and well below Lettermans.

He might mean the actual quality of the show.

Conan's rating issues have been documented online. They are dropping, but his lead-in is part of the problem, it is a weak leadin. NBC News affiliates are complaining that their local news at 11:00 is suffering cause of Leno at 10 and their pain is going to be Conan's pain.

I'm not saying it's leno's fault - but it can't help that barely noone is watching NBC at 10-11, then 11:00-11:30, etc, etc.

Ratings shmatings. Old people like Letterman and Leno. Conan's for the young crowd to be sure. Also I doubt young folks are involved in the neilsen ratings program :p - Letterman was probably getting big ratings during his feud with Palin and his affair scandal, I don't know how they even out with Conan on a non-scandal basis though.

Conan's show is by far the funniest overall though. If you want to see a good interview, watch Letterman. If you want to laugh, watch Conan.

conan has never made me laugh, his monologue is boring, his skits are stupid and i wish i could ram that trumpet down the players throat when he blast out those 5 notes when conan comes on stage.

Ugh - mistake in the first place to move Conan into the Tonight show spot - he's become a softy compared to the hilarious crap he use to pull on his own late night show. Leno should have been let go and replaced with someone else who could tell better jokes and wasn't so obvious reading a queue card.

Conan was replaced by fallon. Epic fail.

Meh, I haven't watched Jay in many, many years (was always a Letterman/Conan guy) and I haven't watched Conan since the switch. The only guy I really like now is Ferguson, so I'll just stick with him.

I like conan the most, but thats because I'm young. 40+ I'm sure don't like him at all, and have loyalty to leno or letterman. I really hope conan doesn't get screwed here and gets to stick around.

Letterman is absolutely terrible, and Leno's new show is just as bad. Conan isn't perfect but still the best IMO.

and fallon isn't that bad...

Oh, and I agree that Conan has toned it down since moving to the tonight show, probably at the studio's request, which sucks. He was better before

They sure screwed that up didn't they. One of their formerly most profitable blocks of programming is in disarray and they've managed to piss off local affiliates nationwide, so they're hitting the big red PANIC button. Epic fail.

If this is true, Fallon doesn't have to worry about Conan taking his job. Conan and NBC will part ways. There's no way he takes that kind of a slap in the face and stays on that network.

The problem for Conan is finding another place to go. I doubt he wants to go back to a 12:35 timeslot anywhere. Fox sucks for late night, with no lead-in. Maybe a 10:00 EST show there. Would ABC boot Kimmel for Conan? Would Letterman step aside or accelerate his retirement for Conan? Conan would be an obvious candidate to replace him, and I suspect Letterman viewers would appreciate him more than the Leno Tonight Show audience has.

As a business move it makes sense. Leno was stronger at that spot and Conan was better at 12.30pm.

Right now they are both weaker.

I don't understand how people think Conan is funny. It's the same jokes every day and nothing changes. He sucks ever more since he went to late night. Jay got lame as well. Both of their rating suck oh and Jimmy Fallon has always sucked. Ferguson is the best out there right now.

Leno should have never left. Leno and Conan were perfect in their previous time slots, but this new arrangement is fooking retarded.
