In response, oh yes, your logic has most definitely embarrassed me! I'll be the first to admit: you completely mortified me. In fact, I can't think of a more embarrassing time in my life. Hmm, maybe when I peed on the plants? Nope. Was touched by my gay uncle inappropriately? Nope, only after your logic on JJ's mammary glands have I been more embarrassed. Wow, I mean, like dude, could you send me a beer bong and autograph it? I would cherish that forever Mill, I will PM you my address if you don't mind.

Why do people bring this up as if it's a point that has the slightest bit of relevance? Let me explain this obviously simple point to you. He said it's the degradation of American culture. He didn't say it was a degradation of world culture. What Europe does has absolutely no bearing on his comment.

Let me give you an example. Jaguar is a luxury car company that builds very nice cars. Let's say for the sake of this example that they started using cheap components in their cars and suddenly Jaguars weren't very nice anymore. Then someone might say "just another event in the degradation of Jaguar". In this instance you would be the guy who pipes up and says "WTF are you talking about. Kia has made cheap cars forever.". You're correct in a sense, but how Kia builds cars has absolutely zero bearing on the slipping quality of Jaguar. From a Jaguar owners perspective, the fact that Kia builds cheap cars has absolutely nothing to do with how they think a Jaguar should be built. What's acceptable in Europe has absolutely zero to do with what's acceptable in America. I hope you understand now.
