Smith is done, even if Starks comes back (Also a FA IIRC) he is better suited at guard as opposed to tackle. He just doesn't have the footspeed to play outside, he may be used to plug the hole faneca will leave at LG.

Be nice to have those 10 points lost by Ben's picks. That last one before the half cost them at least a FG, and most likely any chance of pulling out this game.

Ouch, ok now I see how there could be a problem, that schedule does not have a single easy game that i can see besides a philly team that may be rebuilding and possibly baltimore.
 
Steelers are still in this game, seems Gerrard is taking a cue from Big Ben and holding onto the ball too much.

Starks was a good tackle on the right side... he's just too big & too slow to play the left side. However Colon proved to be just a little better, as he is a little smaller & lighter on his feet. Kemoeatu could be a good candidate to replace faneca, but I was hoping he would supplant Simmons, who is a completely overrated guard. Your right...Starks is a humongous beast and might make a good choice to replace Faneca at guard.


AFAIC, Faneca can be left tackle (pay him big), play Kemoeatu & starks @ guard and cut simmons.
