ah - if you ask me, that looked like a face mask on Ward.
yep, and his shoiulder pads, he was pulling him down.

anyway, glad i didn't go to the store at the end of 3.

They were both guilty

Should have been off-setting penalties on that one, but the interference was much more blatent.

And meanwhile whats looming potentially huge is the the pair of blown 2-point conversions ... lead would almost certainly now be three if they had just kicked the extra point.

Yeah that was a face mask by Ward, makes up for the two bad calls earlier. Overall I'm pleased with the refs so far this postseason, I prefer to "let em play" and they seem to be doing that for the most part.

If you ask me, the facemask CAUSED the interference. He basically pulled him into himself.

However, that's not to take away from what the Steelers are doing right now. The offense is playing well and the defense is totally shutting down the Jags. What a game.

Only one was blown IMO, the other was negated by a horrible phantom holding call.

I'm impressed with Garrard. Being able to alude tacklers and have sense enough to throw it away when need be.

I'd actually say the exact opposite ... Gerrard is being exposed as the weak link in the Jags offense, although he has improved a lot during this season.

This is exactly what I thought Pittsburgh would have to do to win this game, I just would have thought they'ed do it sooner!
