All these people doping for sports/workouts like it's the natural thing to do, it's no wonder you never hear of long lived body builders/football players.
Pre-workout drinks have 4 active ingredients. One of them is caffiene.
Studies exist that tell you what you need of each of the 4 ingrediants to get maximum rewards.
None of the off the shelf stuff have good mixes of what you need. Most are sugar water comapred to what you should get.
The best and cheapest way to use these drinks is to simply by the ingerdients indivudually so that you can actually give yourself a proper mix. Notice jack3D and all of the clones have aproprietary mix of ingredients. None of them give a proper mix. Most are glorified gatorade.
Right now, I take L-arginine (one of the 4 ingredients) only. Doing so to try it out. I think it is more of a placebo effect than anything real though.
Have you tried Jack3d?
Curious. How many servings (scoops) do you take of jack3d? What does the packaging recommend? Are the effects noticable?
You should, by this time, be well aware of the benefits of working out with caffeine. This is the primary stimulant in Jack3d. If you’re not into caffeine or have never worked out with it, you’ve been missing out! Beginners should start with just 1/2 or 1 scoop of Jack3d to get acclimated.
Caffeine increases focus, helps burn fat by heating your body up (it is “thermogenic”, and numerous studies have shown it as a performance enhancer. Our estimations are that there’s about 100mg of caffeine in each scoop of Jack3d.

Actually, I also see that the active ingredients per serving (scoop) are 4 grams total. So there are 4 grams is the "other stuff". Where studies show that a proper mix of the "other stuff" should be in excess of 10 grams.
Studies show that 100-200 mg of caffeine has benefits. Jack3d gives you that in 1.5 scoops. Sadly, with such a small amount of the other stuff, the otehr stuff is pretty much ineffectual.
Anyways, that much caffeine is equivilent to 2-3 cups of coffee. That's probably why you tingle a bit. From everything I have read about the various mixes, caffeine is a common tactic used by manufacturers to make people think it works. Caffeine does help (studies show benefits in the 2 g range). It's just that given the mix of ingredients (or lack thereof) in a scooop of jack3d, you are pretty much only getting the benefit of caffiene. Alot of money could be saved by simply drinking a large coffee.
Try two cans of red bull (80 jmg each of caffeien) and see what the effects are. I'm kinda curious.
EDIT: Turns out that one of those other active ingredients can cause skin tingling in some people. Read the link above. It is interesting.
1,3 dime has some pretty bad side effects if you take it for a long period of time.
Redbull and slap and monster have nothing on Jacked or noxplode. It's a completely different thing. I see a lot of analyzing here but not enough trying. Try it and then tell us what you think.
