Jack Bernstein never existed. This is a work of fiction. The question is, why would someone write this as a work of fiction and claim it as fact? The question is similar to what I ask myself whenever I read your myriad posts on the subject of Israel.

Pardon me for asking, has anyone definitely proved that Jack Berinstien is a fake? As all the Israeli fan clubbers rush to judgment without bothering with proving their contention.

And also ignore that the tiny side issue will not make any difference regarding the present world Israeli negative opinions.

As Israeli fan clubbers some how believe, if they can prove Jack Berinstien is a fake, it will somehow rehabilitate unjustifiable Israeli behavior.

Well if it is indeed a fraud... Then this whole thread is based on a book that was generated by a white supremist trying to damage Jews and Israel. I would say regardless of what it means to the larger argument we should all dismiss the contents of this and return to debating facts rather than lies.

For starters, the book is published by Noontide Press. You know what and who Noontide Press is and what else they publish? So far as I'm concerned, that alone is enough to shift the burden of proof here. But there's much more.

There is no evidence of the existence of Jack Bernstein. No birth or death announcements, no bio in wiki. No nothing, anywhere. There is no reference to the man independent of websites that are peddling his book, all of whom have a clear agenda.

Len Martin, a person with known ties to white supremacist groups, claimed he met him. He is the only person alive who claims to have ever met him, so far as I can find, and I've read pretty much all 8 or so websites that mention him or this publication. As memory serves, Martin also wrote a "forward" to his book, and he appears to be one who took it to Noontide Press for publication. Len Martin at one point claimed that Bernstein was assassinated by Mossad in the United States. Len Martin is the only source for this allegation, though all the websites pertaining to "Jack Bernstein" state it as fact.

I've read the entire book. It is written at roughly an 8th grade level. It purports to be about Bernstein living in Israel for a time. The book is totally devoid of any geographical detail, totally devoid of any personal touch, and totally devoid of even the most incidental positive observations about Israel, not even the scenery. It reads as a semi-coherent, discursive polemic. It is rife with inaccuracies. For example, at one point the author claims he was jailed for 8 days for not carrying an ID car, an offense which has never been jailable in Israel. This book was written by someone who never visited Israel.

If you want to keep speculating that this book is authentic, be my guest. Noontide Press has a vast archive of anti-zionist and other anti-Jewish material that I'm sure you'll find equally credible:
