This is sort of an off topic post, in relation to the new 30 dollar coupon for returning customers at Buy.com

I'm slowly acquiring parts for a computer I will be building in December/January. My question is, which parts of the computer hold their value the longest, or do not drop in price as quickly? I already bought two monitors and a soundcard and I'm not sure what other components don't drop in price as quickly, the keyboard? mouse? case? I'm trying to pick up something with the $30 off coupon... any suggestions?

On another note (pertaining to this thread) Toshiba 12x DVD drive post Should I return my dvd drive I got from buy.com and wait to get it in December/January?

i wanna know how to use a buy.com coupon and ebates together? i figured i would use a buy.com coupon and get my order all ready, then go to ebates and enter buy.com again.

then i would check out at buy.com still in ebates w/ the coupon and merchandise in my cart.

yet the purchase doesn't show up in my ebates account...

any help is appreciated! thx!
