Typically with DNS services, you would only point a domain to a static IP address. Otherwise, whenever the IP changed the DNS entry would be useless. This service dynamically changes the DNS entry when the IP changes.
The only concern I'd have is what happens during the DNS propagation process? That typically takes a while... Do you have to specify a myip.org DNS server as a tertiary DNS server, or what?
