I think I heard there was a study saying that people do stupider shit when they put on safety equipment -- they called it "take more risks".

That may also be why skin cancer rates are higher compared to before sunscreen was more popular. Got sunscreen, I can stay out all day long under the strongest sun no worries?

Extreme example: I got a new bulletproof vest, shoot me to test it out.
