Its not truly a lottery when you have multiple ways of influencing the outcome. Not the least of which was buying a president who valued stock prices over human life.

Sorry to go radio silent after the first post. BetMGM isn't the only one. Our media has been hit hard by Draft Kings and a bunch of others in recent months too. All of them have been offering the introductory offers to hook people. I suppose I just feel like Jaime Foxx is acting all cool and targeting the black community to siphon money from them. Like I say, I wonder who else they would have picked if he'd turned them down.
Norm MacDonald can tell you how bad sports gambling can be. Those with gambling addiction almost always get stuck on sports. I'm smart enough to know there's no such thing as a sure thing and the parlay crap they sell is ridiculous.
I know what you're saying. I suppose I just thought he was classier than that. He's got serious talent, so I'm dissappoint.I mean - what celebrity can you think of that doesn't do one of the following:
-Cheesy unfunny and dumb commercials
-Commercials/Marketing that target other addictive items like alcohol or fast food
-Social Media marketing where they act like they actually use the products
-Selling Fyre festival
Just about every celebrity is a piece of shit that has a price.
What has he done for you lately? I know that he had a FOX show with his daughter, but I don't know if it got canceled. He's got bills to pay, like anyone else.I know what you're saying. I suppose I just thought he was classier than that. He's got serious talent, so I'm dissappoint.
His net worth is somewhere north of $100 million. I don't think he needs the job to pay the billsWhat has he done for you lately? I know that he had a FOX show with his daughter, but I don't know if it got canceled. He's got bills to pay, like anyone else.
Just because he's rich, doesn't mean he lives within his means. Hollywood is full of broke actors & actresses. His net worth is somewhere north of $100 million. I don't think he needs the job to pay the bills

Jamie Foxx Has Made a Ton of Money on Both Sides of the Camera
You might not know that the comedian and actor is also a producer and director.www.menshealth.com
The story I always remember best is MC Hammer.Just because he's rich, doesn't mean he lives within his means. Hollywood is full of broke actors & actresses.
But he's MC Hammer! The music he wrote for "Can't Touch This" was amazing and catchy...he's got tons of talent. I'm sure he'll be "back on top" on a reality tv show with Vanilla Ice and Flava Flav as soon as the pandemic is over. The story I always remember best is MC Hammer.
He made a shitload of money his best year and bought a giant house in Beverly Hills. Between taxes, paying his manager, agent, and publicist, and wild parties, he lost it all. I saw in an interview he was saying he'd do it all over again, the exact same way, no regrets.
I thought he must be a special kind of moron. With 30 million dollars you could invest wisely and be set up like a king for life.
Fuckin dick head.
wow what respect do i have for anyone in general. None, what respect do i have for millionaire actors>? possibly even less than none! who cares what they do? i dont even watch commercials unless im paid to do so at work. are actors your role models or something?
I suppose it's because he was so good in the commercial (looking badass and cool) and BetMGM has been paying to air it frequently on all my streaming services. Like I said, my concern is that he's going to convince people that don't need to be gambling with the little money they have and their families will pay the price. Those apps are way more dangerous than Vegas ever thought about being because they remove the physical barriers and access restrictions.I find it strange to kind of single out Jamie Foxx. He's just a dude. Not sure why you put him on a pedestal.
That being said, he's definitely talented. But he's just some guy.
One can't say if he put Jaime Foxx on a pedestal or not. Nothing in this thread indicates that. Maybe he just respected him as an actor and a talent and the roles he chose.I find it strange to kind of single out Jamie Foxx. He's just a dude. Not sure why you put him on a pedestal.

acting.I saw his interview with Jerry Seinfeld on an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. He seemed like a fairly down to earth guy and it was a fun chat. He talks about trying to stay humble and such.
Vs. how everyone else here knows him personally? No one here really knows. Just saying he seemed funny throughout the interview.acting.
More like, he addresses his known fault. I have to give him credit for that, but not the rest of the circus. He talks about trying to stay humble and such.
I don't need or want celebrities/athletics/actors/etc. to tell me what to buy or what is good for me.
A lot of people do not know that there are many commercials with American actors/celebrities/athletics only air/print oversea and not US market.
Do Harvey Keitel and Kevin Bacon advertise car-insurance and mobile-phone shops respectively in the US or do they only do it here? Was bemused to see such high-profile 'big name' Hollywood types in such downmarket, extremely mundane advertiising campaigns. Doesn't feel so much like an ethical issue, as with promoting gambling, but just seems surprisingly lacking in Hollywood glamour. What next? Will Denzel Washington pop up advertising washing powder? Or Meryl Streep start pushing payday loans?
His net worth is somewhere north of $100 million. I don't think he needs the job to pay the bills
