BFG list this for GTS OC,

A 425W PCI Express-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 28A or more*
>> One 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector

The standard BFG 8800 GTS is listed as 26A.

Do you actually play games on Vista?

Despite your prophecies of doom, the drivers have een getting better.
As are ATi's, the difference is monthly WHQL drivers from ATi for all major Windows versions while it's been almost two months since we saw an XP driver from nVidia.

There is also no indication from nVidia when we can expect a new one and no feedback form for XP, unlike ATi that have had a Catalyst feedback form since 2002.

The G80 is a sweet piece of hardware but nVidia's driver support has been shocking, especially for XP.

I do play games on Vista including Oblivion, CSS, Civ4, Warhammer MoC, FM07 & Kyodai Mahjongg. When the 1.05 patch for ARMA comes out I will be playing that on Vista aswell.

For the record I play them on Vista Ultimate 32bit using FW 100.65. WHQL means nothing to me, just that they run & don't cause me too much hassle (which 100.59/64/65 haven't).

I do also have Catalyst 7.2 running X1900XT in Vista64 but I don't game on that machine anymore, just test software & teach my little brother about it while i'm at it.

JPB, it will run on your PSU, just don't try overclocking too far or volt modding.
