When & if Trident gets a $70k+ job offer and he accepts it. I'll give him a congratulatory $20 via paypal. Mods can hold me to this.

He just has to provide proof of the offer letter.

Both of those bring the salary up to market rate but I'd live very cheaply until next round of funding closed... and even after, I wouldn't be living a bohemian lifestyle. I'd be saving as much as I could.

Who the fvck sends 'demands'? Also via email?

All my salary negotiations have been via in-person or over the phone. Email seems awfully tacky to be asking for more $$$, especially as a 'demand'.

They responded by withdrawing the offer! Boohoo.

Jk. They kept the base salary the same and said I'd make $85k/yr after series a funding completes. It's basically what we had talked about 2 weeks prior. I could've started this week but whatever I tried to get my extra $10k.

The pay is crap but I'm going to find a studio to rent. This hunting for rooms to rent is a real shit show.

I start Monday.

It is crap pay for the bay area. $85k/yr is the minimum here with many new new grads getting $100k+
