It's because the ID3 tag was never properly created. Yes, I have the same problem with some files.
How in heck do I get iTunes to play just ONE file at a time? It just goes through the entire library, and I don't want it to.

For fixing tags, there are tools that will repair the ID3 tags using the filename. I used tagscan for mine and it worked really well. Did this ages ago though since I used to have a mac running iTunes, so i basically knew what to expect. ftp://ftp.externet.hu/pub/mirror/sac/sound/tagscan.zip Otherwise I feel right at home with the proggie, but somehow it was more stable on the mac (older version running on OS 9.1). Already crashed it a few times playing around with it - OK I managed to do that on the mac a few times too but not by doing what I did on the windows version -

The minimized version doesn't have a playlist addon like winamp does (I also like winamp more for the fact that it's slimmer and it can agree with my themes.)
-The scrolling in the playlist is a little choppy compared to winamp. That could be my pc, but I have 1.8 Ghz and 256 RDRAM.
-No ALWAYS ON TOP feature for the minimized version
-Take up a little bit more resources compared to WA 2.x.
