It's Over; Boehner Wiffs on Cliff Plan B, Obama and Senate will get even better deal

I'm proud they own this "mess." Going over the cliff will be a good thing, and allowing the encrusted barnacles of 10+ years of bad policy to fall off will be enormously helpful.

Taxes should go up on all brackets. Defense should be cut. We need to ween the poor and working class off the government crutch of reduced payroll taxes, 99 weeks of unemployment, inflated EITC refunds, and all the rest. Upper middle class should be subject to Alternative Minimum Tax. All these will happen with the fiscal cliff, and the GOP should stand unified against any effort to bring them back, or engage in additional boondoggles like yet another "stimulus."

Well it is looking more and more like we will get to find out if going over the cliff will turn out to be a good or bad thing.
