My hope is that if he does win, the rational heads in Congress from both sides of the aisle will come together to keep in check. Establishment Republicans can't be too happy about the anti-establishment candidate winning.

I wonder if Trump in the ultimate troll maneuver gives Sanders a seat in his cabinet.

Warren/whoever 2020

That would be nice, but I'm expecting the opposite. Trump apparently picked Pence to be the most powerful VP the nation has ever known. That means Trump will protect his ego and make attempts at the border wall, ending NAFTA, etc, but otherwise I bet he'll just do whatever the Republicans tell him. Woohoo, more unchecked Dubya-level spending, only this time from a guy that has been bankrupt four times!

My biggest concern is abortion. I don't think this is an issue Trump wants to pursue but Pence for sure does.

So much for Nate Silver and Sam Wang and all the rest of them. A MI win will be hilarious too, since Clinton was projected to win it by 20 points, and instead lost it to Sanders by 1. The pollsters don't know how to factor in independents and maverick candidates.

It's 2016 man, not 1950! You believe the lies of a demagogue who told the desperate ex-coal miners/steel workers what they wanted to hear. It's A LIE, simple as that.

Wait, NYT is still showing a closing gap in Michigan. I don't see why people think MI is guaranteed for Trump, it still looks like it could easily go Clinton, and with CO out of the game and PA not moving far enough...

Shame on them for wanting to work.
OMG they lost their jobs to automation not outsourcing. Minerals and energy in this country produce more than ever, with less workers. The same thing is true with the auto industry, Ford and GM make more cars and trucks inside the US than ever, with less workers
Is Trump going to get rid of the robots too?

Yes of course they want to work..and let me assure you MOST unemployed would love to work. (Some lazy fucks/freeloaders dont make a majority). But these people in PA etc. won't ever work in coal mines or steel mills...this is absurd. Where should this work coming from?? Tell us! You can't revive industries that are dead for 70+ years.

...and said "we have lost our focking minds!"

No, they said that you can't call a huge portion of the country "deplorables", denigrate them constantly, ignore them, throw them in the mud, lie to them, fuck them over with Obamacare...etc.

Trump says he's bringing back those jobs so you know it will happen.
