Far more phones in the market I would like to choos iPhone, I love my iPhone, I think no one can exceed it, and many are after Apple, design, time...As so many ones have got the iPhones, and totally sucked in it(at least Im sucked in its movies and videos watching on the go with the help of iFunia Video Converter, and Facetime with my friends), the others come into the market one by one.

No different that Phandroid people or BB people. Hell DividedByZero will tell you the BB Storm 2 is as good of a PMP as an iPhone. People who love their phones, love their phones. This is nothing new. iPhone fanatics and no worse than the Android dudes.

I think I'm pretty much settled on the LG Quantum. Raving reviews in the hands on for the keyboard, and then I just noticed the talk time is double the other two from AT&T. My only question now is, is that a flash under the camera?

I think I am liking the look of the HTC Surround, the speaker plus kickstand is kind of nice, and the hardware looks alright. I want to get hands on, I really like how incredibly solid the iPhone 4 feels.

I have mixed feelings about the surround. Yeah the bigger speaker is nice, but I'm not sure I would sacrifice having a smaller device for that speaker.

I'm not sure if there will be a phone that feels as solid as the iPhone4, it has little to no plastic at all. Most phones today have a good amount of plastic on em still.

Another thing I've noticed is how air tight the iPhone4 is. I've always used plain paper to clean out the dust from the cracks/crevices of of my phones. I couldn't do this on my iPhone4 as even a sheet of paper is too thick. Also if you have your speaker on high and cover the speaker, the sound almost goes silent. This further shows how air tight the device is.

I know I'm probably weird for noticing such small details, maybe thats why I'm so anal about my electronic devices.

Has anyone had their hands on the Dell handset yet? It looks great in pictures but I'd like to see a real device on video.

Think about how often you'll use that speaker. And then consider the 3 hour battery life for phone calls - that's considerably limiting, and who knows how much power the battery sucks down!

oh, i hadn't noticed the battery life... that is pretty lame. Ugh, and that was the one i had my eyes on. I guess i will have to wait until they are actually released so i can get hands on.

LOL, that's really not fair, I've met quite a few Android users that were pretty clueless.

My favorite user at the moment is our dept's medical director, he's rocking a 4 year old WM device :) He loves it because he can run power point stuff from it. I suggested he upgrade to WP7 when it comes to Verizon...

That is a really useful chart. I was set on the hd7 but that battery capacity worries me (esp with the biggest screen)

Here's some details on the phones compared to higher end Android devices and the iPhone 4.

http://www.pcworld.com/zoom?id=207451&page=1&zoomIdx=1

Looks like I might change my mind, I prefer to get the highest specs I can (not including screen) so it seems the Surround will be the best choice on AT&T with 576mb RAM.

Maybe the HTC Mozart then, that one has the aluminum body at least.

Not important right now anyway, I won't be able to afford one until end of November at the earliest anyway, but its fun to talk about it :)

Does Verizon even realize how many people share the same story??? Jesus Christ

99% of the people that I know on Verizon f-ing hate how they add stuff on your bill without your consent, and ad all this other BS crap that I can't even think of atm.

It should be against the law for them to do that. I never asked for ....... why am i being charged for it. The worst part is you can't even imagine who to punch in the face for doing that... how do you punch a company in the face for that!? lol

They cant hate it too bad, otherwise they'd leave.
I'm glad I only got a 1 year contract. And it just so happens to die in November. Happy happy joy joy!!

I watched the keynote. I currently own an iPhone 4 and a Droid X, and I have to say I'm VERY impressed with some of the common sense features of WP7. Things that take me 3-4 clicks on my current phones can be done with 1-2 clicks on WP7. And MS/Bing cloud services look as impressive as Google's (in some cases even better). The homescreen tiles make for decent widgets.

I'll try to pick one up off-contract if I can find one for a decent price.
