Its new Iphone time

I finally had enough of AT&T this weekend and went to the Sprint store and got a Palm Pre. I like the iPhone (don't love it, but like a lot of things about it), but I grew a bit tired of the "phone" part of it not working right because of AT&T's lousy service. 3 days w/ Sprint so far and no problems. Plus the Pre is really quite cool. Does some things much better than the iPhone does.

OMG omg! The new iPhone has a revolutionary new 3MP camera with video!!!

Will the innovations never cease?!?

The only "innovation" apple has pulled off is the first phone with a vibrant app market (which they've done brilliantly)...which is why I'm keeping my edge iPhone until it breaks in two.

I'm waiting til July 17th for the new iPhone.

I am disappoint.

Gonna stick it out with SERO for another couple of years. Hopefully, Sprint adds the Touch HD2 to their lineup and doesn't pull the Pre/Instinct BS, which they usually don't with HTC phones.

It's got a compass now. Finally I will feel modern with my phone now that it is capable of doing what crude devices could do in 1000 BC. I was going to copy and paste a link to wikipedia's entry on the compass, but I'm still using my v1 iPhone for a couple of weeks, so I can't.

Iphones are actually very well made. Before it first came out, people had their hopes really high and were ready to critique Apple for the slightest flaw. The phone is not flawless but is superbly made and while it doesn't have all the features in the world, its technology was way ahead of other manufacturers.

Its technology? It didn't even support A2DP and didn't have GPS built into. So what technology did it have that was way ahead of other manufacturers?

Second generation iphone had GPS. I think you know this based on the verb tense you used, but I wanted to point it out just in case.

I never understood the appeal of A2DP though. Hopefully some geeks who love it can chime in. Last I checked, all of the bluetooth A2DP headphones sounded significantly worse than an equally priced wired headphone. And it drains battery more quickly. Thus, I never bothered with it with previous phones that supported it.

Does it appeal to people because of computer or other device integration?

They should just team up with canon and create a hybrid iphone/canon camera and just destroy the cell phone market.

More proof that ATOT is FAR too cool for anything that is the most popular.

Yes, because what is popular is always the best.

You must fap to the knowledge that you may one day get to see Lady Gaga's semi-functional tube-steak in person.
