The average American is fairly portly, which is what clothes are designed for. It's hard to find clothes that fit right if your're muscular and have a small waist.
Anyone found any good brands, especially polo shirts?
I also shop at surf shops . . . however . . .Originally posted by: Riprorin

Most of the shirts today look like too-short dresses on me. It is tough to find a shirt that fits a 6' guy with a 46" chest and a 31" waist. Yes, you can buy the stretchy stuff, but then I feel kinda "festive" if you catch my drift.
Sweat pants are anouther problem. If I buy a large, the length is right, but the waist is too big. If I buy a medium, the waist fits, but the length is too short.![]()

You know what bothers me about this thread? That people still admit to wearing sweat pants....talk about having given up on trying to impress. Sweatpants scream: "Look at the out of shape, lazy man/woman who has simply given up trying to look decent and decided to toss on a pair of grey cotton pajamas and wear them in public"![]()
