I prefer Laird's bonded apple brandy; makes a wicked Jack Rose. But I'd still take whiskey, or gin, or rum, or tequila, or cognac, or regular brandy over applejack. Similarly, I'd take beer over cider. Don't get me wrong; apple booze can be excellent. There are just so many options that are excellenter.
