Btw, I would say that snobbery immediately divides the population into snobs and snobkillers. The instinct to puncture a snob is as widespread as the instinct toward snobbery.

I prefer Laird's bonded apple brandy; makes a wicked Jack Rose. But I'd still take whiskey, or gin, or rum, or tequila, or cognac, or regular brandy over applejack. Similarly, I'd take beer over cider. Don't get me wrong; apple booze can be excellent. There are just so many options that are excellenter.
