It's difficult to describe how badly I hate those "check your receipt" lines at stores

:thumbsup: for walking out or worst buy with it.
I did that to a old guy at wal-mart once. He kinda ran after me and asked me to stop I said no again and just started to load my car. He then said he was going to call the police, I just looked at him and said go for it my plate is fpl-4... The look on his face was priceless. If I ever shopped at bestbuy, which I don;t, I would also just say no and keep going.

What I want to know is why in the hell did you just pay $249.99 for that remote at Best Buy when it can be had for $169 on the net? (I just looked at these last Friday, and they were $249.99, so my post is dependant on the fact that it wasn't on sale this week 😉).

He wanted to give best buy money even though he supposedly hates them. Now carry on.

No he's merely test driving the 880, if he likes it he'll order it off the web. Either way this is going back. Worst buy will never profit from me. Quite the contrary, not only did I make thousands from half price DirecTiVo boxes they sold me I also won concert tickets because I used my reward zone card at the time.

So me = 30 points.
Bestbuy = 0.

Carry on.

Do you always talk about yourself in 3rd person?

Meh. Unless you shop at a membership-required store, you never actually have to stand on those lines. For example, BJs, Costco, and Sams Club all have it listed in the agreements that you'll consent to the checks.

I walk right past all those suckers and just continue on my way to the car.

When I worked at Best Buy, we were told not to follow people once they got outside the door.. I don't stop anytime I'm at a store and that stupid sensor-matic thing goes off. I just keep walking because the first person who chases me down will be sued for harrassment 🙂 oh and if they put their arm on me... haha I'll never work again!

I work at circuit City, thosethings are very easy to remove by hand, even in store.

They work by a panel on the back part, facing the product, that can twist counter clockwise to unlock, and be able to feed more line out, or clockwise to lock, where you then lift the plastic front and rotate it to retract the line.

I have never seen anyone put one on tight enough that you can not get a finger under it, press hard against the back of it in the center depression, and rotate it counter clockwise to unlock.

Very. Simple.

I'll be damned, I just tried it. He's right.

I'm just surprised the OP hasn't been flamed yet...😕 While I don't care what he did, I can just imagine if I posted this what would happen to me= Flameage+Bannage...
