It's difficult to describe how badly I hate those "check your receipt" lines at stores

So I thought a picture would be better. 🙂

Yes, it's paid for. I hate best buy so I just left with it on. It's a resilient little sucker, been sitting in a big glass of water for 10 minutes and it's still going, lol.

The only exception is costco, I love them. I would have costco's love child if it were at all feasible.

Edit: any good pranks to do with an ear blistering flashing hockey puck?

Some stores security is so terrible it never detects it. I know at the American Eagle my sister works at, people walk in and out of the store with their clothes in the bag with the device still on it. Most of the time everyone thinks someone brought a pair of pants past the line or something.

Heh, never thought they would have made them water-proof. Thats kind of funny. Well, if the store ever floods, those suckers will still work.

How the hell did you get out of the store without it going off?

wondering the same thing...

and more importantly, what does this have to do with your topic title??? not sure what the check your receipt line at the store is (Sams and Frys do this, but I have never seen BB do this)...

BTW. you're gonna love the 880.

Well there was a giant line waiting for their security devices to be removed and the idiot at the door was talking to someone that walked in. The line was so close to the door that the alarm was constantly going on as people wandered too close to it. I paid for it, I figured, and I'm certainly not wasting my life away waiting for the door guy to get a clue so I just walked out. The alarm went off, I figured if he cared he'd let me know.

I took the screws off the back and took the battery out. It's actually a clever device. The inside has no water I assume it's waterproof.

Best buy checks your receipt. If it has a security device on it they remove it when the receipt is checked, after you paid.

I wonder how much shrinkage stores have for security devices.

you should always say no when they ask to check your bags at Suck Buys.

as for costco, i think the membership agreement you signed mention something about checking the bags so i think that's ok.

Right on. At Costco you agree to it (probably at Sam's and BJ's too) but everywhere else I just keep on walking.

yeah at Sams its part of what you agree to. so i wait in line and let them look.

Anywhere else i just walk past and say "no" when they ask to look in the bag.

hehe i want one of those things (the puck)

If I were to leave it screeching and mailed it to you would the postal service have the right to beat it with a hammer or destroy the package or would they be obligated to deliver it?
