Labor Day weekend is upon us and that can only mean one thing...it's autumn & bulking season has begun. As I type this I'm sipping on a gallon of whole milk straight from the jug. For those of you doing an Autumn/Winter bulk, what are your goals?

I'm currently 187 at 7% bf, I'm going for 225 lbs. Strength wise my goals are 400 on bench (around 275 right now), 500 squat (who knows right now), 600 deadlift (around 450 right now), 400 BB Row, BW+135 Pullup. Physique-wise I mainly want to add more width to my lats, and develop my lower back more as well. I'm going to try and build some explosive strength as well. I don't want to be a slow 225. I want to be a violently fast 225.

How accurate is this 7% bf?! What sort of time frame do you imagine going to 225lbs in?

As for me I'm going to maintain my low carb diet. Hammer lifting, and 6weeks out of 25th December I'll start being cleaner with my dieting as I'm off to Cambodia for 3 weeks so I'll want to ripped.

Snatch 130
C&J 160 at the 4th December comp

Thats 8kg on to the Snatch and 13kg on the C&J. I'm close to 125 and I've Cleaned 150 a bunch of times, 155 once. Failed to Clean 160 in training but confident I could do it in competition though...got to nail down the f0cking Jerk though!

Not very lol. I had it tested today. 8%. haha. Ah well. Bulking has always been somewhat of a chore for me, although I can do it. Cutting is absolutely effortless though, guess it's genetics.

Lucky, I'm the opposite. I can bulk with ease but cutting is a royal pain in the ass.

Rugby season just started so I'm cutting. Gotta be leaner and lighter, and besides I burn so many calories at practice and games, trying to bulk is basically pointless. I bulked this summer up to about 240, and as of now I'm down to about 232. I'd like to get to 215 before I start bulking again, but I don't know if that's realistic. 220 would be ok, too, if I can minimize muscle loss.

I've got another 10-15 pounds to cut (3 months?), but I am looking forward to bulking again.

I've already begun mine a week ago... Labor day weekend gave me an excuse to pig out some more. Though I'm going to try clean bulking this season since I'm sort of right where I want to be. Plus I don't want to get too heavy for snowboarding season which I'm really looking forward to since I got some sweet gear during the spring sales :awe:

Currently 5'8 @ ~162lbs & ~11%bf going for 170 tops.

I started clean bulking two weeks ago. I think I probably got down to about 9-10% bf at 175. My lift goals are 315 bench, 365+ squat, 405+ DL. Right now I'm probably about 260/315/365 max.

I'll be going the opposite direction. Fall Marathon season is starting...will hopefully be down to ~170-175 before my Philly marathon in November (currently at 180). I eat a ton though to keep up mileage...so I may only get down to 175. The less weight, the less stress on my body.

vwee shall see.

Uh yea, 125 lbs is 10 lbs of increase per month, or more conservatively, 5 lbs per month.

10lbs per month maybe possible but you'd be eating like a pig and you'd be gaining just as much fat.

Last bulk I did was 4 months and I added 70 lbs. Shoot for the moon if you miss you're still amongst the stars
