Why on earth would it take someone 5 years to make a knife? Are they some type of mom and pop operation that only crank out X per day?

It doesn't take them 5 years to make the knife. They have a backlog of people who want them so it's going to take the extra time. And yes alot of shops are Mom and Pop type places not like Buck or the Big Companies. T

Isn't it about time they upped production? Who's gonna wait around 5 years for a knife!are these things something special? i'd take my money an go elsewhere if i had to wait that long!

That second one is $900 and it's out of stock?!?! Who in the world would have the money to spend $900 on a gag gift???

A Colombia River Knife & Tool (CRKT) M16 of some type. Relatively cheap, and rugged as hell.
