I have a very precise and regimented morning routine.
At 6:53 my alarm goes off. I hit snooze once
At 7:00am it goes off again and I get up.
I eat breakfast while watching the news. Breakfast/news time takes until 7:12am. If I am done eating early I watch news until 7:12 and then go shower.
I know what time I should be done with my shower, how long getting dressed should take etc and pretty much always leave at the same time every day. No one else is home so no one else talks to me - which is good. I like that.
Until today. Today it was all wrong.
First - today was the first day of that that horrible time of the year when my wife is off of work. So she home in the morning. So its her that wakes me up. I don't wake up as well with her gentle shaking as opposed to my alarm. I then have to converse with her to tell her to snooze the alarm or turn it off. I don't like to converse in the morning
It didn't happen later in the morning but I know at some point she will actually try talking to me during breakfast time
Then, to make matters worse, we are re-doing the ceiling in the family room - where I watch my morning TV. So I have to go upstairs to watch TV. AND we needed to temporarily re-locate my bedside table so my glasses aren't in their normal spot
Ruined my whole morning. And its going to be that way for at least the rest of the week. FML
