Funny, I have read the entire Bible and it did not mention this, as a matter of fact, I seem to recall it specifically saying that only God knows the date of "judgement day."

Odd that after thousands of years of studying the testaments that the date was only recently discovered...

How convenient... that only "God" knows because he doesn't want you to know. In psychiatric circles that's called a self-reinforcing delusion.

If God is delusional,.. wouldn't that mean that all of us are just his delusions? Meaning, we don't even really exist.

I don't care where they go, just as long as these raging idiots just go the fuck away.

Society will be better off without their raging stupidity.

We were just passing that very question around the office here and we came to a general concensus that the thought process will be "God spared us".

Or some whack job will come forward claiming he saved the earth. Trump has some spare time since he's not running.....

If these people don't leave this world on Saturday, we should kick them out anyway. They are a waste of space and resources.

Some say a comet will fall from the sky
Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves
Followed by fault lines which cannot sit still

WOW talk about perfect timing!

I just watched '2012' so I know how to beat this whole rapture thing!

First I get into a limo, dodge falling skyscrapers

THEN I steal an airplane and fly it underneath the falling subway rail system

THEN I steal a winnebego and dodge the essploding yellowstone super volcano

THEN I jump back into my stolen airplane and go to Vegas...for no reason because dude, its Vegas

THEN I steal a super duper Russian military transport jet and fly half way to China

THEN I crash the jet, walk over Mount Everest to a super modern badass "Ark" that I break into with some poor tibetian family and cruise off into the sunset!

simple.

You're over simplifying it though. That might work for volcanoes erupting, floods coming etc... but you can't escape God's wrath that easily.

For Christians that try to predict the date I would ask them how they know when even Jesus didn't know?

Mark 13:32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come."

Can anyone explain to me how "Family Radio" came up with this date specifically, and how they know exactly the world will end (earthquakes, etc)? None of these specifics are mentioned in the bible.

Funny, I have read the entire Bible and it did not mention this, as a matter of fact, I seem to recall it specifically saying that only God knows the date of "judgement day."

Clearly God told them when it was coming, duh.

Will I be able to buy a new large screen plasma and a new projector for cheap? And will I be able to watch the end on the big screen?

Hmm. Either the comet, meteors, etc., were all a lot smaller than expected, or God's working that list from the bottom up.

If it were the End time event there is only one time that we can go by. Not central or any others but the Time it occurrs in Israel. But its not end times to many events need to take place first . . THAT HAVE NOT OCCURRED as of yet. SO this May 21 first Off Isn't the date anymore than Dec 25 was Christ Birth date. LOL at the very Idea of a rapture which is NO were to be found in scripture. The twinkling of an eye is after the 2 witness die . These 2 witness are NOT prophets but exactly what the name implies they witness the end times and do give testimony against the people and their gobberments.

I listen to their radio show because it's such a train wreck. The other night he was trying to explain this. Somewhere in the bible is a quote to the effect that a day equals a thousand years to god. Then he finds where god tells noah that he has 7 days before the flood when he and his family are rescued. That was a metaphor for now when jesus comes back and saves "the true believers". Somehow he calculated the day of the flood and added 7K years (the day is a thousand year thing.)

According to his calculations that means jesus comes back for "the true believers" on saturday. Since the Hebrew day starts at sun up he thinks the process will start at sunrise in jerusalem.

True Believers aren't just christians, but those who left the churches and believe in May 21.

This is gonna cause him a lot of shit.

The actual rapture is going to be so great. The true believers will all be taken away and we get 1000 years without their company. Win-win.

Some of these people put themselves rather higher in G-d's regard than is Jesus.

Well this Jesus clown was a bit of a BS'er anyhow.

Matt 16:28: [Jesus said to the disciples], 'Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom'.

Xians have been tooting this horn and being wrong for 2000+ years, but why stop making predictions now?
