For those of you who know me or Obiwaynekenobi and knew I was pregnant.

Our son Nicholas Paul was born 7:33 am Monday Dec 16 7 lbs 1 oz.

Been a rough week and a half. In and out of the hospital. He has refulx, troubles with apnea and keeps having a high bili count.

Will try and get a pic uploaded somewhere if anyone wants to see.

edit: link is in obiwayne's post.

edit: Thanks Adul for all your help.

Nicholas

Merry Christmas Indeed! 😉 His birthday is a day before my sister's. 😀

Make sure he gets taken home in a cute little Christmas stocking.

Make sure he gets taken home in a cute little Christmas stocking.

When we left the hospital he was born in we ended up with 3 diaper bags, 2 stockings, 4 hats, and a quilted blanket.

Then from the 2nd hospital we got another stocking, 2 fleece blankets, a sleeper, a stuffed bear.

What a spoiled little baby already. Just wish he wouldn't have been sick to get this stuff.

So far he has been in a hospital more then home in his 10 days of life. And not sure he won't have to go back tomorrow. *sigh* He is such a little trooper.

I forget how strong these little babies are.

yep he is our 4th and last.. But what a miracle each one has been

I have 3 children, we originally wanted just two so we took great care not to get my wife get pregnent,
but, our 3 child was conceived much to our surprise. However, we certainly are happy that she is with us,
She is an adorable and intelligent little girl and she makes us laugh even if we are upset at something.

And four babies later, you forget how strong the mommies are. And I bet you still look fine as hell. 😀

I don't know what it's like, but congratulations to the baby, the father, and you.

I hope the baby gets in good health. And I hope everything goes well for you all.

That would be a good age span I think in some ways to have more. I love my kids and wouldn't trade them for anything but having so many so close has been very hard physically and emotionally for both of us. In many ways I think twins would have been easier.

Congratulations. Like the name! Our daughter, Jennifer, has g.i.r.d. (gastro intestinal reflux disease) so it was a very rough few months getting through that. The doctor recommended we sit her up for 20-30minutes after feedings and then lay her down, that fixed the GIRD but got her used to falling asleep in our arms. Hope it's not that bad for you all, but you gotta do the right thing.

She was also a bit high on her bili's, so she had mild jaundice. That was making her very tired. Dr's monitored it for a bit (had to get her foot pricked a few times to draw blood--that's painful to watch, 'specially since we are new parents) but once the jaundice was cleared up the sleeping problem went away. And then we had to deal with the GIRD forever and ever.

She's 9.5mo noe, and doing very well. As are we.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, not an expert but maybe can share some additional stories / info on the above.
