Now, why do all the talentless wannabe musicians of today's generation feel that it's necessary to lip synch? Oh yeah, because without all the computerized gadgets, they have no talent... :p

Paul McCartney

And, he sounded pretty good!

I wonder what kind of projectors they are using for the floor images....

only someone on AT would ask this.

McCartney shouldn't have been allowed to perform these classics without the rest of the Beatles.

Some of them are dead. he therefore cannot perform the songs.

ITS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT THEM, DAMNIT!

Not your average everyday pantywaist consumer projector. Probably a custom LCD-based solution with a very high-contrast LCD and an OLED projection bulb

I actually thought it was an awesome halftime show... None of the extravagant flair - freaks climbing around and swinging from ropes... just a good short concert... entertaining at the very least. I've always hated "drive my car", so I wasn't even watching during that part... but when I heard the next song, I started watching.

I was thinking a Runco...or a DLP similar to those in movie theaters.

same here, i can't stand that song. but that's got to be just about the best feeling in the world.. having every person at the super bowl singing one of your songs

Neither of those would've produced anything visible at all under stadium lighting (unless they shut off the lights, I wasn't paying any attention at all)
