It was probably an OLED loudspeaker stabilized by a light emitting diode with full bridge rectifier quad pumped with RMS output on the fiber optic transmission screen.

Either that or I'm completely talking out of my a$$ and making stuff up like the other poster.

I thought the halftime show a few years ago was great. The one with Sting and Gwen Stefani. Well, Shania sucked because it was painfully obvious that she was lip synching but Sting and Gwen Stefani were awesome. Those two were not lip synching.

Sting puts on a great live show BTW.

I'm not a huge Beatles or Paul fan but I liked the show. At least it didn't have a bunch of untalented pop bimbos lip synching or crotch grabbing hip hop g's that you can't understand. Wish he would've played some different tunes though - those were not my favorites. Still can't believe he didn't play "Let it be".

McCartney shouldn't have been allowed to perform these classics without the rest of the Beatles.

Some of them are dead. he therefore cannot perform the songs.

ITS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT THEM, DAMNIT!

psssst... Live and Let Die was Paul McCartney and Wings... not the Beatles.

i know that :)

i'm talking about Hey Jude and the other song he played, forget the name.

Boy! using this logic, He shouldn't be doing Live and Let Die either; Linda's dead.

It was an entertaining show. Nothing extravagant. Just a good legit mini-concert. I liked it.

I liked it (I'm 26). It was just music that everyone knew with some fireworks added in. It was much better than the last... oh... 10 years of half-time shows.

And might I add that Alicia Keys was VERY clearly lip-synching.

I actually thought it was an awesome halftime show... None of the extravagant flair - freaks climbing around and swinging from ropes... just a good short concert... entertaining at the very least
yep...MUCH BETTER than last year's show...er.. performance

Yeah...he did a good job....unlike Homer's half-time show on the Simpsons, but then he didn't get as many boos as Ashlee Simpson did at the Orange Bowl.
