i told you all i was modding my enlight 7237 a while back, and here are the pics. i finished the mod back in december and it was just a matter of finding a friend with a digital camera and then getting him to upload the pics.
i painted the sides and top of the case with rustoleum metallic blue and the front with rustoleum silver. silver spray paint sucks, and i've since redone it and put some wax over it so it isn't all smudged up any more. i painted the drive bays too so the front wouldn't be all silver. the LED's aren't covered with paint either since i covered them.
now for the case mods: i cut the pac man out with some wiss shears since i knew that the molding would cover up any imperfections, and the pellet was cut with a hole saw. i used a saw that i forget the name of to cut the lexan for pac-man and then epoxied a square of lexan over the hole. i cut out the rear grill and put in an 80mm high output fan with the chrome grill over it. i took out the plastic housing for the front fan and put in a 92mm high output fan there. i also drilled the front intake holes on the bezel to 5mm. i rounded the floppy cable and put split loom on almost all the other cabling. it has really good airflow now and it's actually pretty quiet. i put grommets betwen the casse and the fans so vibration doesn't affect it, but i was thinking of adding some sound dampening material to the case to keep it really quiet.
let me know what you guys think of it.
