Good Lord! Thats what I have to do later in the game? I may not be able to beat the game on freeplay mode!

edit: ok, that was damn good.

Some of it seemed like there was just clipping. Like the rest of the ship didn't matter, only if he hit the rock with like the very center of the ship.

He does seem to go off of the rocks several times, especially at the end when he makes those narrow squeezes. That's still crazy. It'd be more crazy if that was a girl, because then I wouldn't believe it.

ah i remember that game, think it was on the nes/snes too? and yea the hitbox seems a little wacky. i can understand the top and front cuz of the firing and the little drone thingies, but the bottom? i hate games like that

Gradius = one of the biggest classic video games of all time. You don't know video games worth squat.
 
this is good however the Ikaruga videos are insane for thoes that havet seen them just seach here for them, they put this one to shame

Agreed. The footage from the Ikaruga DVD Appreciate DVD is amazing. Also insane is the individual who plays both player 1 and 2 by himself.

yea thats the one that sticks in my head, he goes through the whole game playing both ships and never dies :Q, i couldent beat the first 3 stages with a friend on the easyest mode
 
He does get hit a few times, but he has the force field to start and he activates it again once he gets hit. Crazy though. I still haven't been able to beat that game yet.
