yeah i'm having a hard time beating it on easy mode with 7 credits. just for clarification, the game isn't as hard as it is in the video on even the very hard mode. gradius 5 has a loop thing where after you beat it once, it loops u to the beginning again and it sets the difficulty a step higher. so basically if you beat it once on very hard, u start over again on very very hard. that video is some guy playing on the 31st loop. you figure out how insane that is.
and yeah gradius 5 has a bit more leeway in terms of getting hit. but u have to considering the amount of dodging space they give you.
