so it's automatically a bad thing that she has coverage? ok I got it. :/
Please do not put words in my mouth.

I see the left is experiencing cognitive dissonance that the supposed beneficiaries of their generosity aren't singing the Hosanas the left thinks it deserves. It's the same thinking as "the Iraqis will greet us as liberators and toss flowers at our feet" from the last administration.
Perhaps at some point Phokus, Eskimospy, and the rest will realize the truth - conservatives hate your fucking guts and want nothing to do with you or your policies, even if there was some benefit in it for them. And it could reasonably be argued that Obamacare doesn't help the majority of conservatives in the slightest.

I'm only going off of what your arguments are.
you are upset that she has coverage not me.
leave the country then.
I think Obamacare is helping some people including some conservatives DESPITE how much you hate Obama and the left.
I know my father in law who is as cracker white as you are going to find cannot stand Obama...and he is so happy with his medical coverage right now....but he still hates Obama.
How do you over pay working minimum wage?
She does not make enough to pay for her own health coverage so others have to chip in.
I do not mind helping those in need, honestly I do not. It just seems the people in their 40s and 50s are getting screwed on health care.

That's not what the rightwing press has been saying, they are saying that the older people are hosing the young and healthy "invincibles."
Of course it helps *some* people, that's what subsidies do. Likewise it was undoubtedly helpful for those with pre-existing conditions and those who wished to maintain coverage on their children until age 26, but those 3 categories represent small minorities of the population. The bigger question is whether it actually helped the majority of people, including those who pay the subsidies. If you're a middle class person receiving employer-sponsored health insurance (i.e. 80% or so of the population), Obamacare almost certainly hurt you in order to pay for the goodies to those other groups. The law was sold on the premise that rates would go down for everyone, on the order of $2,500/annually per family.
This is a pretty interesting denial of reality. Medicare is overwhelmingly popular, even among self described conservatives. This is in marked contrast to when Medicare was originally enacted, when conservatives thought it was OMGCOMMUNISM.
Conservatives quite often DO hate liberals' guts but that's due to the tribalism inherent in modern American politics much more than any specific policy objection. Someday maybe you will realize this truth. Once you do that, American political behavior makes a lot more sense.
Hosing how?
I am seeing young people get cheap rates while older people are getting hosed.
You live in Texas. Your governor fucked you.
As of today, approximately 12 million Americans are signed up for healthcare through the ACA.
Over 2,500,000 have signed up for private insurance through exchanges
Over 3,000,000 young adults have insurance through their parents.
Over 6,000,000 have been enrolled in Medicaid
There are over nine months to the mid-term elections and over 2.5 years to the next presidential election.
Anyone who thinks they can run a successful campaign based on taking away insurance from twelve million Americans is a loon. Granted the tea party is full of loons, but the chances of an ACA repeal are now about as likely as a Medicare of Social Security repeal.

The ACA repeal votes were a waste of time and bad strategy. All the Republicans had to do was fund the ACA for a year and let it collapse in on itself.
Actually based on the stories, it sounds like the poor conservative LOVE the policies but absolutely LOATHE that they have to give Obama credit for it. Big fucking difference. And i'm not going to be lectured by the guy who had to post a thread in ATOT asking whether or not MLM's like herbalife are a scam or not and whether his wife should pursue those opportunities (which is funny, because admitting so would put a huge dent in your cheerleading free markets, considering how successful they are at vacuuming up money from suckers). The very fact that you even need to ask is all that i need to know about you. Here's a hint: YES MLM'S ARE SCAMS YOU IDIOT.
The only cognitive dissonance are the imbecile conservatives who desperately need and secretly use Obamacare yet curse Obama's name.

I am not upset she has coverage.
What I am upset about, I have paid into the system for 30+ years but do not qualify for any help.
When do I get my piece of the pie I have been paying for?
It will collapse on it's own without any help from anyone. The unhealthy and those requiring a subsidy outweigh those that will be paying into the system. This means that the healthy and those that don't receive a subsidy will have to pay huge premiums to support the ACA.
If you think the millennials are crying now that they have too large a burden due to their student loans, wait until they're hammered with high insurance premiums.
Better yet, that young person get away from minimum wage jobs.

I care about the 80% or more of Americans who are getting fucked over by Obamacare so that you can give that redneck his freebies, and then get all butthurt when they don't appreciate you for it.
Your words make no sense.
God Bless America! (I can agree with that)
God Bless Obama (he would never go along with that) He's a Muslim, you idiot.
