Dems might not want to mention the word inflation and global together. Our federal reserve is stabbing the globe each time we raise interest rates thus making the dollar even stronger, making it more expensive to pay off debts held in USD or buying things with it after exchange of their local currency. If we want to help out the rest of the global economy we'd lower interest rates, but we're not because something has to come first.

As if any meaningful % of the voters needed to sway would even come close to grasping those concepts ...

Yeah, if your bills are high naturally you blame the guy in power. That is why this constant back and forth, cycle after cycle.
Yeah the flip flopping just bounced between the center with occasional partisan policy. This Repugican party is swinging for the fences in nut job policies. Why the undecided are so blind to this, who knows.

Even Democrats see the writing on the wall and it's not good. Sure it's easy to blame and voting bloc, but how unpopular does your party and candidates have to be to lose to the likes of Walker, Oz, etc.

I always thought that since 2016, Dems should have had layup after layup with what little the GOP was offering but here we are.

Your clarity of vision is not something that comes naturally. It is an achievement that is built. Otherwise the pretty little lies that are told to people, become something they like to hear. Something they begin to parrot and believe in and fight for. Reality be damned, they're going to trickle down and make it rain gold!

Taking sanity for granted was mankind's greatest weakness, and it will ever be exploited by the fact that we are not rational creatures. Assuming that we were has left us defenseless with no organized means of effectively countering the batshit flung for political expedience. We were caught with our pants down. It is past time we pull them up, recognize people for who they are, and work to undo the damage. Assuming it isn't already far too late for us.

Why people are blind?
It comes naturally. Always has been.
Real question must be...
How do we make them see?

Also fuck the Saudis for their production cuts that spooked the market, just in time for the midterms while pressuring smaller OPEC nations to pretend it was with everyone's support.

We all know which party will love them more and so do they

If you want to make people see, you are, in my opinion, going to have to find a way to first to make them see they already believe they do see. You may also have to give up on the idea that you can make people see anything at all. Always it will be making them see what you think you see. And that, I believe is fear. We are full of needs. We don't feel safe when other people think differently. Authoritarianism, I think, is the need for conformity. Fear is also insecurity. I certainly don't want to think that what I see is wrong. Imagine what a tragedy that would be. You need to see I am right. Good lick getting me to see I don't already see.

Humility might be a good idea. But I know what humiliation feels like. So that's out. I'm one proud MOFO. Fuck the country if it means I'm going to feel bad. An obedient mule gets fed. Look at all those guys in Iran beating up on women. What a turn on.

I still think abortion will be a major deciding factor and the get out the vote factor. It's not just the abortion thing, more so its the government screwing around with women and their independence. Forget about the word abortion for a second, just think of this as Trump's SCOTUS dictating to women, and Trump's candidates dictating to women. Women don't like that, not even the pro-lifers like that.
I believe a lot of pro-lifers will vote for the pro-choice candidate NOT because of abortion per se but more so because some will say how dare any court dictate what a woman can think and what a woman can decide. Again, women don't like that, including pro-choice women. It really goes far beyond the abortion thingy. It is and was an outright attack on women themselves. For a third time.... women don't like that. No they do not.

When Susie is in the ICU bleeding out from an ectopic pregnancy because Oklahoma (insert state here) won't allow her Drs to terminate the pregnancy, she and her family really don't give a fuck what a gallon of gas costs ...

The Democrats control the House, Senate and the WH now so why wait until after the mid term elections to codify it?

Manchin and that soon to be Republican POTUS nominee Kirsten Sinema don't support it. Only 48 do.

Would be awesome if they somehow nominated her, although they won’t. She’s a rare politician who is unpopular with Democrats, Independents, AND Republicans. It doesn’t happen often that everyone agrees on hating someone.

What happens when you try to maverick and are not John McCain.
