and come to think of it if you really want to talk about food at that level... Do you realize that the majority of that money also stays in the country? From single family farms that supply high quality ingredients like hand churned butter and seasonal veggies to the chef and servers, to the hippies that wander the forest looking for mushrooms. And if you purchase a good American wine like oh I dunno "Screaming Eagle" you are supporting that entire industry as well. Shall I go on? Or do you just want to look dumb?

Just because you want Oscar Mayer hotdogs made in vietnam out of who knows what because Oscar Mayer hotdogs are eval trademark doesnt mean others in this country see no value in spending money on quality items made in this country.

Emotional response, and trying to focus this onto me and for some reason my wife, who isn't even a party to the conversation. I guess I'm hitting close to home. You feel guilty, don't you? You spend hundreds of dollars on a single meal while families across the US are starving, and then come here to complain about how awful those wealthy people are. Not that you're wealthy of course. Only people with more money than you are wealthy. And those are the bad people, right? That makes you feel better.
