"fancy food" Lol. peasants. I would recommend at least once in your miserable lives to go to a nice restaurant and have a tasting menu pm me for spots in LA and Washington DC $400 to $700 per person unless you are going to french laundry then we are talking $1200 a head. Yum.

I think I was bragging more about the food then the money :)

Glad to see you remember everything I write though.

and come to think of it if you really want to talk about food at that level... Do you realize that the majority of that money also stays in the country? From single family farms that supply high quality ingredients like hand churned butter and seasonal veggies to the chef and servers, to the hippies that wander the forest looking for mushrooms. And if you purchase a good American wine like oh I dunno "Screaming Eagle" you are supporting that entire industry as well. Shall I go on? Or do you just want to look dumb?

Just because you want Oscar Mayer hotdogs made in vietnam out of who knows what because Oscar Mayer hotdogs are eval trademark doesnt mean others in this country see no value in spending money on quality items made in this country.

Your problem is you are so cheap you scoff at shit that really IS made here.

Yeah, it weirds me out a little bit that I remember that post. For some reason that particular thing rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it's why I despise you so.

You're still a braggart, and anyone paying $400-1200 for a meal is definitely in the ownership class and therefore part of the problem.

So as long as the wealthy eat at expensive restaurants, the economy is fine?

I didnt say that but how about you take your troll wife out sometime for a nice meal. That will have a positive impact on not only the economy but also your relationship.

Emotional response, and trying to focus this onto me and for some reason my wife, who isn't even a party to the conversation. I guess I'm hitting close to home. You feel guilty, don't you? You spend hundreds of dollars on a single meal while families across the US are starving, and then come here to complain about how awful those wealthy people are. Not that you're wealthy of course. Only people with more money than you are wealthy. And those are the bad people, right? That makes you feel better. They're bad because they're wealthy, and you're good because you complain about them on the internet.

My wife and I will probably go out tonight, it's karaoke night down at the VFW and they have cheap Amber Bock on tap. But I'm sure you look down on that sort of thing. Filthy peasants.

what's interesting about globalization is that much of it is not employing the people the companies are seeking to sell too. capitalism had always done that previously, afaik. henry ford paid his employees well to create a built in market for his cars.

Lol @ the thread feud between jstorm and boberfett, replete with class warfare, insulting the family members of posters, and much, much more! All in all, at least a good 20 minutes worth of solid entertainment.

nobody makes movies like we do. There are some great foreign films but nobody does Hollywood like Hollywood.

I haven't been to a theater in years because Hollywood makes shit. If that's the industry you're proud to be in, I'm sorry to hear it. Your shitty movies aren't even worth pirating.

And it's funny you think I'm a neocon.

Amen, haven't seen anything made in Hollywood in years, not worth $$$ or the effort. Hollywood turned into pathetic egocentric self-important place populated with disfunctional ppl.
