It appears our old friend PliableMoose has died

i've heard stories that he would find out who people were and then complain about them IRL

Ohhhhh yes I remember that now. I think he may have even gotten someone fired at that other place, or at least he tried to. He would dig dirt on people and then report it to their work place. IF it's the person I'm thinking of.

Hate to speculate stuff like that about someone that passed away though as I may be wrong and getting mixed up with someone else.

Yes, same guy.

How does this work then?

"Hi there Faceless corp1, theres an employee of yours called SuperDork420 on an obscure internet forum that said mean things about Apple and my mum. Could you make them stop please?"

Oh dang. I did some FS/FT with him back in the day...he was always pretty active on the Apple sub back then. RIP guy 🙁

I think that the relative just said that he'd died and the participants in the thread went "OMG! Obviously murder!" and typed "F" a lot. (Seriously what's with that?)

It's a gaming thing from Call of Duty...press the "F" key for to show respect for the dead, as an in-game option.

It became something of a meme over time...when someones dies IRL & people want to respond online to share their condolences, they type F to say RIP & goodbye.
