That sucks. It's not exactly a relaxing profession, I'm hoping for some down time then someone else looking after me for a change when I retire from nursing!

Did he have any health problems do you know or was this just a random thing?

His SIL posted over there "As of right now we are unsure. He had ongoing health issues, but nothing prepared us for this. Once we the family have details I will be able to comment more."
 
Wow. I definitely remember his name but don't know him.

Oh man, I was about to attribute the famous "stick out your butt" quote to him but I searched a bit and it's actually Yossarian that said that. I got him confused with Pliablemoose for some reason.

Thanks. I have difficulty with Reddit at the best of times and that thread was a bit of a mess.

I think the two difficulties with reddit are the layout of the threads & the groupthink of the subreddits. I like having time-based consecutive posts with multiple pages, like we have here on ATOT, because it makes reading through things a lot easier. Also, most established subs not only have their own rules, but their own culture, so there's not as much of a place for individual voices within them because you get downvoted to oblivion. Whereas with ATOT, we have a smaller pond with a lot of different fish, which creates more of a community feel than just an extremely specific forum for something more niche.
 
Pliable was nice to me, I don’t go to that other place ever so I hadn’t heard from him since he was banned here. May he RIP, my condolences to his family

He was one of the people that got fed up with the "CHange Of Culture" a while back and left. I think he also did something to get himself permabanned in the process, but I cannot recall.
He didnt intend to come back anyway.
