Spam scam: Stores across Hawaii locking up Spam because people keep stealing it

Drugs ruin everything: lives, relationships, getting the good cold medicine that actually works — and now, even buying Spam.

People across Hawaii may be stealing Spam and other canned meats in order to sell them on the black market, in return for what some suspect is drug money, reports Hawaii News Now. So grocers are taking matters into their owns and beginning to lock up their precious stock.

I don't understand how you can get spam at all. At my site on login and registration the IP is checked against the stop forum spam database, and all first posts are held in moderation Que. Among other things.

None of the registrations that make it through are on the SFS database. They're constantly cycling through the IP address pool of the local teclo.

I see. Well, if you had all first posts held in moderation Que that would go a long way.

Radioreference.com does this. Although, they hold your hand long after your first post which is ridiculous.

LOL I actually block the whole of India, but not South Korea. If I start getting problems from South Korea I'll block them too.

I mean, just how many members on here are from India exactly? Not too many I bet. And I feel if you are from another country you will be more apt to join a regional-based forum in your native language.

The name of the site is AnandTech. Lots of (non-spammer) people from India who find the site think it's an Indian site. They don't know Anand is from California.
