I was having computer issues earlier, thought I had them solved, and then of course the forums didn't come up. 😛

Only reason would be browser config or issue somewhere. Javascript disabled maybe. Too hard to trouble shoot from here.

whenver I click the new topic button to post a new threat...nothing happens.

Enable popups from forums.anandtech.com in your browser and/or in external popup blocking software if you have it.
