I don't get it, who said that the Israelis deserved to be blown up by suicide bombers because Sharon is their leader? Cuz i assume that is what you are getting at with this statement... If not, then please explain why you made it...

The way things are going now, more civilians than military or terrorists are killed on both sides, BOTH sides are wrong... There is no right when it comes to killing civilians, not even to retaliate...
 
the rest of the world (especially europe) views Israel as an aggressor against palestinians. I don't care what history evidence you present but they are still occupying a lot of palestinian land (if not all). That's why the world is pissed at Israel. I don't see that as anti-semitic.

I don't hate anyone, I dislike the Israeli government's policy against palestinians, I dislike Hamas and its suicide bombing and I dislike Sharon. Does that make me anti-semitic? label me whatever you want, Israel doesn't own everything.
 
kaz, I'm not taking offense nor can one always consider what other people think when deaqling with truth. It offends some people no matter what.

And if you can't attack the source then turn the argument around and accuse the other side of the same thing on the basis that two wrongs make a right.

Yes, and when Israel military bombs civilians, on Sharon orders, to get one man and killing 9 children in the process, they are no different than Hamas, not a bit.

There has been no disputed about that, even the White House said it was a delibrate attack where it was certain that civilian casualities will occur. And we of course know the response of the whole world.

If Israel chooses to act like Hamas, it should be treated as such.

NO, you misunderstood my statement. I meant that since Hamas is recognized as a terrorist group, therefore is does not receive funding, military aid and it receives continous condemnation for their terrorism.

The same should be applied to Israel is it chooses to act like Hamas (like the recent incident), I simply don't want Israelis using OUR FREE F-16s for their purposes, and I don't want my tax dollars to go to them.

That's all.

But killing civilians is wrong, killing is NEVER, NEVER justified.
 
When was the last time a major star, or any entertainer for that matter visited the "Palestinian" Arab's cities?

Never? I guess they've been getting what they deserve all along.

hehehe, this is funny, for two reasons:
1) The settlers are ALREADY in Palestinian territory, otherwise, they wouldn't be settlers.
2) I never mentioned anything about the role of Israeli soldiers in "trying" to stop the settlers, I'm talking about the settlers which, in the US at least, are always perceived to be innocent civilians, while this incident proves they stand as the same moral ground as Hamas. A bunch of wacko religous and militia freaks.

1) There is a difference still between an Israeli settlement and a Palestinian town. Had they not been stopped there would be a whole lot more deaths.

2) If you had said the extremists deserve anything they get ok, but you said Israel, including innocents too. If an American extremist would kill a Chinese guy, and China would nuke NY as retaliation, would you say that the USA deserved what it got?
 
One needs to be careful with the notion that we get what we deserve. There is a difference between actions have inevitable consequences and actions deserve consequences. Nobody deserves terror, but you will get it eventually if you persistently and doggedly try to suppress people's inalienable rights regardless of who you are.

History is repeating itself, most of the world in the 1980s was boycotting South Africa.. and now there is a global movement to boycott Israel, and it's taking effect.

Hopefully, the Israeli public will choose wiser next time.

Sometimes Israel acts like Hamas, but no democratic nation in the whole world should act like Hamas at ANY INSTANCE.

The Swedish foregin minister summed it up when he said "It's an international crime unmorally worthy of a democracy like Israel"

It doesn't matter what you think... The US will never stop supporting Israel. Why? Because Israel has around 200 nukes in its arsenal, and if we stop supporting them, they will either have to use them or lose them. We don't want either.

Yeah, at least our foreign minister has made one statement that makes sense, that is more that i can say about plenty of our other ministers...

If the US is willing, Europe can join the US in imposing economic sanctions against Israel until ALL settlements are dismantled, and a real political process begins.

and perhaps they can make one more donation to fund a one-way ticket for Sharon to Belgium 😉

and I wouldn't at all mind if his flight partner was Arafat.

 
Israel uses tanks and the army and Palestine uses suicide bombers, IMO they are both as bad as each other and I feel sorry for the innocent civilians caught in the middle. It's about time the rest of the world acted against them both, maybe send in troops to restore order. How about a large force of German soldiers guarding the border? ok me bad! 🙁

Name a country apart from America who actually likes Israel? I can't think of any!
