Hello! Veronica Mars is a great show too.![]()
To be fair, Heroes brings questions over from week to week, but they also ANSWER a lot every episode. They reveal little things every episode. Lost, on the other hand, nearly lost me as a viewer because of this exact issue. You never learned ANYTHING, you just had more questions after every episode. They are finally supposed to be wrapping this up, and if they don't, I'm done.Originally posted by: JeffreyLebowski
Maybe it's because my TV is from the early 90's and has a tinfoil wrapped coat hanger for an antenna???
My GF watches lots of TV. I've tried to watch Lost and Heroes but I can't sit still that long for these shows. I don't like them because the plots are so out there and ridiculous. Also they don't seem to be able to answer anything in an episode without only giving very vague answers and only bring up more "questions". I hate that.
I can understand this. Single-serve TV. I think the big change here is the DVR. Writers are able to stretch things out more because between those people who will watch a given show every single week and those with a DVR, you have a pretty good fan base that won't miss an episode.I guess I'm a product of Early 80's TV. I can sit down and watch Knight Rider, A-Team, Star Trek, shows that have a theme to it, but the whole plot is drug out slowly over an entire season or series. I like for each episode to be contained. I know why shows like 24, Lost, and Heroes where made the way they are. It's so you buy the DVDs because you have to watch them in order to understand the show.
I didn't watch that at first, but after watching Serenity I've seen some episodes of the show (inHD replays it) and I think I was missing something good.I think the last show that was on that I liked was Firefly. It had a overall plot that was followed through the series, but each episode stood on it's own.

My brother watches NCIS, but to me that show is a comedy... I laugh at every episode I see, so cheesy and lame....can't stand it.

Seinfeld. It's still the best
Seinfeld is just awful to me. Everyone I know with seemingly the same sense of humor as me likes it, but I just can't stand it. Boring, stupid, slapstick comedy. Basically I can't stand most sitcom styles, and it is as bad as they come.Originally posted by: BrokenVisage

fixed, give me a Seinfeld re-run I've seen 5 times already over a new episode of The Office ANY day. God I hate television programming as of late, no offense to the people who actually like these shows but other then a handful of HBO programs it's a very underwhelming line-up to me.

And don't forget, the best acted, most riveting show on TV: The Shield returns in April
